We are incorporating in Inla Kesh the principles of Macrobiotics, as an orientation and practice. This means mainly:
Respect for nature: Macrobiotics promotes a lifestyle more aligned with nature. It is directly associated with values such as environmentalism, the defense of the environment and the optimization of resources.
Organic and natural foods: The macrobiotic diet prioritizes organic and natural foods. It avoids the consumption of fruits and vegetables treated with artificial fertilizers and fertilizers, as well as other chemical products.
Proximity and seasonality: Consumption of local and seasonal foods is encouraged. This reduces the carbon footprint associated with transporting food from distant locations.
Limitation of energetically extreme foods: Macrobiotics divides foods into Yin and Yang categories, which helps in having more clarity on what food to take in what situation in order to navigate different situations with as little resistance (suffering) as possible.
Cooking and utensils: Macrobiotics recommends using high quality products in every area of life. This reduces the use of plastics and unsustainable utensils.
